| The Financial Times reported that, on average, each employee of Nintendo will earn $1.6 million in profit for Mario & Company during 2008. Let me repeat this in case you thought I made a typo. During 2008 each employee of Nintendo will generate $1.6 million in profit for the company. Nintendo employs less than 3000 permanent staff who make an average of $90,000. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that someone is making a whole lot of money. Does this take the fun out of the games for you? Or do you think it is worth it and that the stockholders, investors and a few executives deserve the money? |
