Visit the Danbury Library at twilight for an evening filled with The Twilight Saga inspired music, food and prizes.

Space is limited for this special teen event. Twilight the Movie will be released on November 21st. Why not join us at the library the Saturday before? We will have a cosplay contest for those who dress as their favorite character. There will also be prizes to be won for guess-the-character and trivia contests as well as some other fun events. Prizes include movie passes as well as twilight theme prizes from some of your favorite stores. If you don't care about prizes, come anyway for a spooky evening and nibble on vampire bites and ghoulish drinks.

But you have to call 797-4528 or come into the Library to register. There will be a limited number of participants in this program.

The library closes at 5 so you will have to enter through the West Street Emergency Exit. Don't be late or you may not get in.

Show your support and help needy animals by reading! That's all you have to do. High school students will read this year's One Book, One Community selection, the best-selling novel, The Namesake.

Just pick up a pledge packet and start collection pledges. Call the library to sign up for a block of time between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 25th. Come into the library on the 25th and join other teens on the main floor. You can bring your own copy, or pick one up when you come in. In addition to pledges, we will have a container to collect change from passersby.

Call the Junior Library at 797-4528 to sign up for this first Teen Read-a-Thon.
