Jack Higgins is well know by adults, but he has turned his skills to writing a young adult series. I've read Jack Higgins before, and he has a knack for creating ingenious, Bond-esque plots. I defintely recommend Death Run. I'm usually a fan of the pirate genre, but it can get repetative (i.e. Pirates of the Carribean 1, 1,2, 3, and there may be a 4th one!?!), so I don't know if I can vouch for Isle of Swords. If you're looking for a quick, action packed read, Death Run is the way to go >:D
