Have you tried Information Anytime?

infoanytime_75pix.jpg
Now you can get free help even if you don't want to come into the library or don't want to use the 'phone. The new service is called infoAnytime, and that does mean 24/7. All you need is a computer and you can link to the service through this TeenZone web blog where you see the infoAnytime logo. Once in the infoAnytime site, you only have to identify your library, and you can begin chatting with a librarian. Some of the librarians are fluent in Spanish if you want to make your request in Spanish.

You might also want to check out the links on the TeenZone Homework page. If you know of any links that you like better, let me know. I am always looking to upgrade the links on the Homework page.

January is Nutmeg Book Award Voting Month. You can vote for your favorite Nutmeg teen title in Danbury Library or your School Media Center. Have you decided which is the one you liked best? Here is the list. The Nutmeg and the Teens Top Ten are the only two book awards where you make the final decision. So exercise your right, and vote! If you can't make it into the Library, email me dharrigan@danburylibrary.org with your name, grade, school, and favorite title. I'll fill out the form for you. Click here to see all the nominated titles.
