Spring Storytimes

All Storytimes are Walk-In.

Book Babies

Ages 3 - 23 months and caregivers
Tuesdays 
10:15  - 11:00am 

An introduction to nursery rhymes, songs and simple stories, followed by a 10-minute playtime. A parent or caregiver accompanies the child and participates with them one-on-one for a very special bonding time with their baby.

Terrific Toddlers

Ages 2 and 3
Thursdays 
10:15 - 11:00am 

A program to enhance children's listening, motor and social skills. Simple stories, activites, movement, music, movies and crafts will provide children with what they need to form important pathways in expanding brains and bodies.

Big Kids

Ages 3 1/2 and up
Fridays
10:15 - 11:00am

Children will enjoy stories to improve their listening along with interactive music, movies and a craft. Phonics, rhymes, letter sounds and other pre-reading skills will be incorporated into the storytime. 

Storytime Courtesies - a special note to parents:
Storytimes are designed for the specific ages shown. Please be sure that your child is coming to the right group. Please try to arrive on time, and do not give children snacks or toys in storytime since they may distract the class. Parents and caregivers are responsible for the behavior of the child. If your child becomes disruptive, please feel free to give your child a break outside the room and come back when they have calmed down. This will make the storytime more pleasant for all. Always feel free to talk to the librarian if you have concerns or questions. Thank you!

NOTE: When Danbury Public Schools are cancelled for any reason, the Storytimes are also cancelled.
