Despite the current and past economic hardships, I am looking optimistically to the future. Thanks to a generous grant from the Praxair Foundation, we will be reorganizing the main floor in May. The largest part of that effort will be the consolidation of the computer stations into one area.
To continue with our eye on the future, I will be looking to the library’s staff, board members and customers to create a new 5-year plan. As many of you know, the Union Savings Bank will be vacating their space to move to a new building further down Main Street.
You have provided us with your input from surveys conducted over the past year, which will serve as a valuable foundation for our 5-year plan. To give me your continued input, I ask that you complete the exercise below. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or call me at 203-797-4512.

It is five years from today and the Danbury Library has become the most desirable library in Fairfield County. Describe it, as if you are able to see it, realistically around you.
