Monday, December 31, 2012 - 5K race begins at 3PM - Events at 4-8PM

First Night will offer more than 30 entertainments and activities over its 4 hours of spirited “Fare.” A vaudeville at The Palace Danbury traditionally anchors the evening, this year starring comedian Buddy Flip.  Buddy’s brand of comedy is lovable, lyrical and his comfortable rapport has made him immensely popular, with widespread appearances from Sesame Street Live to Comedy Central to the stages of Atlantic City and Las Vegas. He will be joined on the stage of Danbury’s 1928 vaudeville house by The Susan King Duo and magician Ben Nemser. Music, Variety Children’s Activities, Arts & Crafts, Novelties & Exhibitions are planned for every age group, every interest, and every entertainment. There’s Magic, Stilt Walkers, Hypnotism, Face Painting, Belly Dancing for Kids, and more.

First Night Danbury 2012-2013 buttons, which provide entry to all events, cost only $7.50 each. They may be purchased at the CityCenter Danbury offices, 186 Main Street, or at participating merchants throughout the area. You may also purchase a pack of 10 for $50 ( a savings of $25) through CityCenter. They make great stocking stuffers or holiday gifts at the office.
