Learn a bit about China in a brief presentation by members of the CT Chinese Culture Association. Following the presentation, participants will create a paper lotus flower bookmark. In China, the lotus flower grows in muddy water and rises above the surface to bloom with remarkable beauty. It represents long life, health, honor and good luck.

The program is conducted by the CT Chinese Culture Assoc., founded in 2002 in New Haven, CT. Their mission is to promote cultural exchange and serve the Asian communities and the general public in CT.
