My Dad’s Truck,
a local acoustic trio specializing in Americana roots music, will be
picking and singing audience favorites, some oft-forgotten gems and
their own original tunes. Members Susan Lang of Woodbury,
Leif Smith of Redding and Bill Wisnowski of Danbury perform these songs
with rich harmonies, assorted instrumentation and an improvisational
spirit. All of the members play multiple instruments which include violin, banjo, mandolin, ukulele and guitar. The
band brings a combination of rich, youthful rhythm, classic harmony
lines and far reaching improvisation to everything that it plays. Warning: spontaneous sing-alongs have been known to occur!
