Proactive Planning for Adults with Aging Parents

Taking care of aging parents can be stressful, overwhelming and confusing if you are not prepared. Many adult children of aging parents are not equipped to handle and manage the care, medical and financial needs that occur as elders become frail, ill or cognitively impaired. This presentation will help attendees know what practical steps can be taken to be prepared, rather than being reactive in a crisis situation.

Presenter: Joan Garbow, MSW, LCSW, CCM is licensed clinical social worker, certified case manager and member of the National Association of Geriatric Care Managers.
