How to Get a Library Card

Danbury Library Cards are available free to all Danbury residents.   With your library card you may borrow materials use at home or use the library internet computers for free.

To get a library card, please bring identification showing your Danbury address and your photograph. You may use a current Connecticut driver's license or a picture ID (such as your passport) and one of the following:

• car registration or insurance card,
• real estate tax bill,
• telephone or electricity bill, or
• other business mail with your address.
